What is Your PRODUCT??? The product of my company is a coco bonsai. Coco Bonsai is a new trend in the floriculture industry. It has a unique form that emphasizes each part of a coconut tree. It can be placed as an indoor plant as well as an outdoor plant. The business concept is to make use of the long life of Coco Bonsai by selling or leasing/renting out Coco Bonsai.

The production of Coco Bonsai is simple because you need only to give water and make sure that it receives enough sunlights (almost no vitamins or fetilizer needed). Coco Bonsai can also stand the extreme climate and weather. However to get the unique form which the root of the coconut tree tying the coco shell, you need to constantly take care the process from seedling till the desired shape is created. In total the production process of Coco Bonsai requires 2 -3 years period.

In order to reduce costs and risk that will rise during the production process, a mass cultivation of coconut sprout in a nursery farm with an integrated system is needed. The space does not have to be big but it should have a well drainage system and enough sunlight.

The number of labors needed for year 1,2 and 3 respectively is 6,8 and 10. Coco bonsai will be targeted to the following groups: flower shops, hypermarkets, appartments, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, office buildings for table ornament or room accessorries, everybody who loves floriculture.

As mentioned before, Coco Bensai is very unique and has a very appealing form. You can put it inside the house or outside. Besides, it is a good investment, you can buy Coco Bonsai when it is young, let it grow old and sell it as a real bonsai.

Looking at the profiles of our potental customers, I believe that a direct contact is the most effective way to promote Coco Bonsai. Of course various media such as exhibition, expo, tradeshow, flora magazine, internet and brochures can also be used to boost up the number of sales.

Currently there is still a limited number of competitors for Coco Bonsai as the technique to make Coco Bonsai is not yet well known.

When Coco Bonsai becomes more famous in the market we expect to have a lot of competiton. However, we expect that the business by that time is setablished and has a certain market so that we can beat our competitors easily.
